Hari ni I managed to listen to more speakers at the conference. Ada yang interesting and practical tapi tak kurangnya yang boring bagai nak rak. Kalau setakat baca apa yang ada atas slide, I can definitely do even better. Imagine, a man who is a member of the BOD of a big corporation in Malaysia, made a fool of himself bila dia baca all 40 slides yang dia ada word for word and he made that in front of 1500 participants who were feeling extremely bored to death. The speakers yang diaorang bawak dari overseas pulak bagi theories which they picked up from the text books.Tak banyak live experience yang di share dengan audience. Kedekut ilmu ke mat salleh ni? To add to the list, the deputy minister yang datang untuk buat closing ceremony pulak bercakap as though she is the emcee. Tak tau camna nk describe to you tapi that was definitely one boring speech especially the person is a so-called politician.
However, it was not all frustrating. There was one speaker from TNB who shares practical examples how we can create initiatives at our corporations and they've showed good results and achievements from their initiatives. How I wish I have top management team yang boleh pikir & plan ke tahap macam tu. We are talking about GLCs here and sepatutnya all GLCs ada quite common initiatives yang bagus2 untuk upgrade our standard. Takpa, I've got ideas that I picked up today and perhaps I'll try to work out something. Must start somewhere for it to happen kan? Hope I can gain support frm the team.
Tapi semua keadaan boring itu diubati bila I met the charming trainer from ESQ. Those from Semasa who've attended ESQ would know who I am talking about. Charmingnya....... Suria & I chose the seat which is close to the ESQ booth so that kami boleh hilangkan perasaan bosan dgn menjengah if the trainer is there.
One of the things I like most about trainings and conferences are the FOOD and not to forget, the new network you've got. Mana la nak tau kot2 ada peluang cerah ka, bagus jugak. Dont get me wrong, peluang cerah untuk belajar dari orang lain & compare notes, tu je.

Open House
I had to attend the PSMB conference today in Sunway which ends tomorrow. Disebabkan ada BSD punya open house today, so I cabutla awal eventhough we have interesting topics for talks in the afternoon. Had to miss attending them sebab kena attend BSD punya open house in the afternoon.
Bila sampai station, it was already nearing 4pm. Semua org dah dok start sesi photography - macam selalu. Budak Semasa ni semua mmg sawan gambar sikit. Pantang ada staf yg pegang camera, ada saja post2 menarik yg nk ditunjukkan. Tak kira la boss tu sombong ke, bos suka gelak ke, skema ke, bos garang ke, abis semua disuruh bergambar. TApi yg paling best bila our ex-bos chose to cramp duduk makan kat meja kami yang dah sediakala penuh dengan anak2 dara & mak2 orang. Jangan jeles ye meja sebelah..... Well...as usual, kami pun berebut2 tangkap gambar dgn dia - seronok giler! Boss - I promise to go & kemas your room minggu ni okay, jangan merajuk tau.
To all yang telah membantu to make the event a success, thank you so much. I can see Aida senyum melebar sampai ke telinga, Miza dengan muka penat tetapi tetap maintain, Seb berpeluh2 melayan guests & juga membungkus lauk - thanks for packing the satay for me. To the adik2 dari Warisan ....?? - cute abis. To Shahnim pulak, Happy Birthday again, dimurahkan rezeki, cepat dapat jodoh & jangan marah2 selalu. Hope you like the present you got today - takla pathetic kan 27th birthday awak?
Tomorrow will be another day of training & networking with the HR practitioners. Manala tau, kot2 jumpa good contacts yg blh bagi rezeki - amin.....

Back Again
Dah lama betul tak update. Everytime I start to write, ada saja org yg nak pakai PC la, nak layan ngasuh anak2 la, notebook tak bawak la mcm2. Anyway it has been few months already since I started this blog.
Today, I spent one whole hour in my ex-bos punya bilik, chatting. Seronok rasanya. Missed the time when we used to duduk bersembang and share a lot of things together. How I wish I can turn back the clock. Anyway, macam dia ckp, kita kena move on and adapt to changes. Well...memang betul and I tried and still trying.... very hard.....Whatever it is, I am greatful to have friends yang fun, caring and adorable kat office.
Today, few came to me to talk about the next big change at work which will pretty much involve me too. Hell... dont want to even think of it. We will all wait and see if things are REALLY gonna happen. Kadang2 orang2 ni, plan aje melebih, buatnya idak pun!!! Dah banyak kali dah terkena, jadi serik dah kalau nak suruh percaya unless & until I look at something B&W. We'll just wait n c ya.
